Principles of Applied Engineering is a first year class introducing students to a variety of software suites as well as hands-on projects (see APPLIED ENGINEERING AT A GLANCE page for listings).
Principles of Applied Engineering can be taken by both 7th & 8th graders. Principles of Applied Engineering must be taken in the 7th grade in order to be eligible to take Applied Engineering (Advanced Engineering) during the 8th grade school year.
NOTE: This class is limited to 27 students per class (due to the number of computers within the classroom). This year, 5 Tech 1 classes are offered - totaling 135 students maximum. If you wish to take this Technology class, you must list this as your #1 priority when choosing electives, otherwise, there is little chance of getting in. There are always over 150 (or more) students that did NOT get in because of seating limitations.
